Inside war-torn and authoritarian Myanmar, people continue to assist communities and individuals in seeking justice and a hope for a better future. In this breakfast seminar, two of Myanmar’s many extraordinary change-makers will talk about the injustices and the repression that people in Myanmar are faced with. How are civil society activists able to provide aid and promote freedom and hope amidst the brutality and the violence of the current military regime?

After the two speakers, they will be joined by Carine Jaquet, Myanmar Country Director of Norwegian People’s Aid for a panel discussion and a Q&A session.

The seminar will be moderated by Marte Nilsen, Senior Researcher, PRIO.

A light breakfast will be served from 08.30.
